JB took over as Manager of Hampstead at the end of the 07-08 season, inheriting a team rock bottom of the league. In his 2 seasons in charge he has transformed the club on and off the pitch, taking the team to a cup final and promotion to the first division.

Prior to joining HWFC as a coach at the end of 2005, John played football at County and University levels, before a spinal injury sustained in a Sunday league game, ruled him out of competitive contact sport. He also spent a couple of years coaching University Girl’s netball.

John is an FA Qualified coach,and is also qualified in Emergency Aid and Child Protection.
