Hampstead Women FC play in the FA London & South East Regional League, Division 1 - just 4 leagues below the Premier League. Established in 1997, HWFC has grown over 14 years from a group of friends playing in a park in NW3, into a strong squad of women playing dynamic, fast and flowing football.
The manager is an FA qualified coach (as are some of the players) and has been coaching the team for the last 6 years. The club has been awarded the Charter Standard by the FA in recognition of the excellent setup now in place.
HWFC prides itself on its fun, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and we always welcome participation from anyone who wants to get involved in football and be a part of an exciting and enjoyable club, both on the field and socially. However, following 2 very successful seasons that have witnessed back-to-bake promotions, the first XI is now of a very high standard. We play to win and can only cater for capable, experienced players, who can compete for a place in the team from the off.
After scoring 176 goals in the last 51 games, winning consecutive promotions and just missing out on a league cup, the club is moving from strength to strength. We have 18 ladies signed in the squad for the current season, with an age range of 18 to 34, and we are looking to increase numbers slightly further - now is a great time to come and check us out… Click on the 'Contact Us' link to the left, and get in touch for more details... |
